Merino/Alpaca/Silk
I purchased some gorgeous merino/alpaca/silk blend from First Editions. It looked gorgeous in the packet, with the silk adding some stunning highlights, but unfortunately when it is spun and plied, it just looks like plain mud!
I'm sorry to hear of your thread problem. I hope to get myself a spinning wheel again someday. But I can do it other ways too. Knowing you, you will be able to work some kind of wonderful magic & make it look good enough to please you. I believe in you & your work.
